Recommendation:
By Minute Motion: waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 04-120
approving Parcel Map 30502.
Discussion:
Parcel Map 30502 (referred to as the "Desert Gateway Project") is located at the
southeast corner of Monterey Avenue and Dinah Shore Drive. The subject map
conforms to the tentative map approved by the City Council on February 27, 2003. The
map provides for the creation of 24 parcels for commercial development within 71.6
acres. Individual development proposals will be processed through the precise plan
process.
Grading and improvement plans have already been submitted for the northerly Parcels
1, 2, and 12 through 24. All off -site improvements to Monterey Avenue, Dinah Shore
Drive, Gateway Drive, and Avenue 35 will be done prior to or concurrently with the first
precise plan on -site construction.

RESOLUTION NO. 04-120
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP
OF PARCEL MAP 30502, APPROVING THE AGREEMENT RELATING
THERETO.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Palm Desert,
California, as follows:
1. The Final Subdivision Map of Parcel Map 30502, City of Palm Desert,
California, is hereby approved as the official subdivision map of said
parcel map, subject to the conditions of the Tentative Map.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute on behalf of the City a
Standard Subdivision Agreement guaranteeing completion of the public
improvements required by law.
3. The City Engineer is authorized to receive the improvement security as
required by law on behalf the City, subject to the approval of the City
Attorney as to form.
4. The City Engineer is directed to process the Parcel Map for recording
upon receipt of the required improvement security and the payment of all
fees.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Palm Desert
City Council, held on this day of , 20_, by the following vote, to
