Recommendation:
By minute motion, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No.
______, approving Parcel Map 31563.
Discussion:
Parcel Map 31563 is located at the northeast corner of Gerald Ford Drive and
Cook Street, north and east of the Exxon Mobil station. The subject map
conforms to the tentative map approved by the City Council on May 13, 2004.
The map provides for the creation of eighteen parcels for
commercial/office/industrial, restaurant and hotel purposes within 21.86 acres.
Individual development proposals for each parcel or groups of parcels will be
processed through the precise plan process.

A previous request for approval of this map was continued to a date uncertain at
the February 10, 2005 Council meeting.
Staff recommends adopting the attached Resolution for the subject map to be
approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 05-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
SUBDIVISION MAP OF PARCEL MAP 31563 APPROVING THE
AGREEMENT RELATING THERETO.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Palm Desert, California, as follows: '
(1) The Subdivision Map of Parcel Map 31563, City of Palm
Desert, California, is hereby approved as the official
subdivision map of said parcel map, subject to the
conditions of the Tentative Map.
(2) The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute on
behalf of the City a Standard Subdivision Agreement
guaranteeing completion of the public improvements
required by law.
(3) The City Engineer is authorized to receive the
improvement security, as required by law, on behalf of the
City, subject to the approval of the City Attorney as to form.
(4) The City Engineer is directed to process the Parcel Map for
recording upon receipt of the required improvement
security and the payment of all fees.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the
City of Palm Desert, California, on this day of , 2005, by
the following vote, to wit:
