SunLine and the consulting firm of Transportation Management Design (TMD) are
proposing to make a presentation on the Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) to
Council members of the City of Palm Desert.
SunLine is currently conducting a Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA) that will
provide the transit agency the opportunity to redevelop its services to better meet the
needs of the growing and changing population of the Coachella Valley. SunLine and
TMD will make a brief presentation (5 minutes or less) to provide an overview of the
COA and various issues that will be addressed. After the presentation, SunLine and
TMD staff will ask for input from Council members and the general public regarding
changes they would like to see incorporated into proposed improvements of SunLine
transit system."
SunLine and TMD will undertake similar efforts with the other jurisdictions throughout
the Coachella Valley to ensure that citizens from all cities in the valley have the
opportunity to provide input into the process.
