By minute motion, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No.
05-74 , approving Parcel Map 31515.
Discussion:
Parcel Map 31515 is located at the southwest corner of Gerald Ford Drive and
Cook Street. The subject map generally conforms to the tentative map approved
by Planning Commission on April 20, 2004. The subject final map provides for
the creation of twelve commercial parcels with additional right-of-way dedications
on Gerald Ford Drive and Cook Street, all within 23.6 acres.
The tentative map was approved with fourteen parcels; however, the smaller
parcels slated for restaurant use were deleted for a larger hotel site and parcel.
Staff recommends adopting the attached Resolution for the subject map to be
approved.

RESOLUTION NO. 05-74
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARCEL MAP 31515 AND
APPROVING THE AGREEMENT RELATING THERETO.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of Palm Desert,
California, as follows:
(1) Parcel Map 31515 of City of Palm Desert, California, is hereby
approved as the official parcel map of said map, subject to
conditions of the Tentative Map.
(2) The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute on behalf of
the City a Standard Subdivision Agreement guaranteeing
completion of the public improvements required by law.
(3) The City Engineer is authorized to receive the improvement
security, as required by law, on behalf of the City, subject to the
approval of the City Attorney as to form.
(4) The City Engineer is directed to process the Parcel Map for
recording upon receipt of the required improvement security and
the payment of all fees.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Palm Desert, California, on this 8th day of September, 2005, by the following
vote, to wit:
