REVIEW AND UPDATE OF THE STATE INVENTORY LIST Chair Kent Routh indicated that the purpose of the meeting was to review the twenty-five (25) surveyed properties listed on 1981 State inventory list. It was determined that there is no record that the Palm Desert City Council approved this list. After review and discussion by the Historic Preservation Committee, it was determined that the following eleven (11) properties are still valid and located in the City of Palm Desert. They are: 1) 74155 El Paseo — Randall Henderson Apartments; 2) 44870 Cabrillo Avenue — Maryon Toole; and 3) 73498 Joshua Tree Street — William Boyd House. Chair Kent Routh suggested that the Bergen Ranch House at 43301 Portola Avenue should also be considered. Amir Hamidzadeh, Director of Building and Safety, recommended to the Historic Preservation Committee that they select only two or three properties on the inventoried State list to be recognized at this time. After discussion, it was determined that the following three (3) properties would be considered for designation at the June 26, 2006 regular meeting of the Historic Preservation Committee.
