Spiegel, Councilman DATE: Ap�il 26, 2007 CONTENTS Committee/Commission Application from Lee Morcus Recommendation: By Minute Motion, appoint Lee Morcus to the Marketing Committee to fifl the unexpired term of Ray Rodriguez, Jr., to expire on December 31, 2009. Discussion: The City's Marketing Committee currently has two vacancies, one representing the restaurants, which was filled by Ray Rodriguez, and one filling a residential spot, which was filled by Ric Mandelbaum. Both resigned due to scheduling conflicts. Lee Morcus is well-known to many for his community involvement and support. He is very interested in serving on the Mariceting Committee, and the Committee is anxious to have a new member. As you can see from his application, he brings 20+ years of experience, not only in the hospitality business but in marketing as well.
