Discussion: On October 26, 2006, City Council awarded Contract No. C25020B to Horizon Professional Landscape of Coachella, California, in the amount of $60,875.00, for the construction of landscape improvements in the concrete median islands on Portola Avenue between Chicory Street and Fairway Drive. The Public Works Department has inspected the work performed by the contractor and has found said work to be complete and in accordance with the contract requirements. Therefore, staff recommends that City Council, by minute motion, authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for thesubject project.
