By minute motion, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 07-6Z
approving Parcel Map 33996.
Discussion:
Parcel Map No. 33996 is bounded by Cahuilla Hills to the north, the CVWD Palm Valley
Channel to the east, and Metate Place to the south and is located in Mountains at Bighorn.
The map provides for the subdivision of one landscape lot to one parcel for a home site and
one parcel for landscaping. There is an existing Southern California Edison easement over
all of the underlying lot being subdivided; however, Edison has submitted a non-interference
letter which will allow for the subdivision but the easement will need to be at least partially
quit -claimed prior to issuance of a building permit for the house on Parcel 1. The tentative
map was approved by the City Council on November 10, 2005 and will expire in November
2007.
Those conditions of approval related to the map have been satisfied. This map conforms to
the requirements of the Subdivision Map Act and City ordinance and it is substantially the
same as it appeared on the tentative map.
Staff recommends adopting the attached Resolution for the appro al of the subject map.

RESOLUTION NO. 07-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PALM
DESERT, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE MAP OF PARCEL MAP NO.
33996.
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of Palm Desert,
California, as follows:
(1) The Map of Parcel Map No. 33996 of the City of Palm Desert,
California, is hereby approved as the official map of said parcel
map, subject to the conditions of the Tentative Map.
(2) The City Engineer is directed to process the Parcel Map for
recording upon receipt of payment of all fees.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of
Palm Desert, California, on this 13th day of September, 2007 by the following
vote, to wit:
