Application by Pam Touschner Recommendation: Subject to the applicant interview to be conducted Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 2:30 p.m., by Minute Motion, appoint Pam Touschner to the Architectural Review Commission to fill the unexpired term of Ray Lopez (term 12/31/08). Discussion: As City Council is aware, there is currently one vacancy on the Architectural Review Commission (ARC). During the February 7 interview session for Committee/Commission applicants, City Councilmembers indicated that due to the nature of the subject matter jurisdiction of ARC, it would be important to expedite any applications received and fill the vacancy prior to the annual year-end process. When Ms. Touschner's application was received on March 20, it was forwarded for review, and staff was asked to set an interview prior the April 10 Regular City Council Meeting. However, that time did not work for Ms. Touschner, and a subsequent appointment was scheduled for April 24.
