The National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse has proclaimed the month of April and National Child Abuse Prevention month; and Now, Therefore, I, Jean M. Statistics document that Riverside County 1 out of every 4 girls and 1 out of every 6 boys will suffer child abuse by the time they're 18 years of age and boys greatly under report abuse. We want our families and communities to know the facts and to provide open channels of Board of Directors communication with our children in order to keep them safe.
