Funding for the travel was appropriated during the annual budget process. Executive Summary: Approval of the staff recommendation will reconcile an incongruity in the approved FY 2008/9 budget. Discussion: The approved budget for the 2008/9 fiscal year appropriated funding for all travel planned for the year, and authorized the out-of-state trips necessary for conduct of City business. The budget required for out-of-state travel for members of the Department of Community Development was included in the printed budget book, but the list of trips covered by the budgeted amount was inadvertently omitted.
