NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palm Desert City Council, Palm Desert
Redevelopment Agency, and Palm Desert Housing Authority adjourned their regular
meetings of Thursday, January 10, 2008, to Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. in
Salon Numbers One & Two of the Desert Springs J. W. Marriott Resort & Spa,
74855 Country Club Drive, Palm Desert, CA 92260 for the purposes as set forth on the
attached agenda. Tuesday's meeting will then also be adjourned to Wednesday,
January 16, 2008, at 8:00 a.m. at the same location.

Any person wishing to discuss any item not scheduled for public hearing may address
the City council, Redevelopment Agency, or Housing Authority at this point by stepping
to the lectern and giving his/her name and address for the record. Remarks shall be
limited to a maximum of three minutes unless additional time is authorized by the City
council. Because the Brown Act does not allow the City council, Redevelopment
Agency, or Housing Authority to take action on items not on the Agenda, members will
not enter into discussion with speakers but will instead refer the matter to staff for report
and recommendation at a future City Council, Redevelopment Agency, or Housing
Authority Meeting.

OF THE
PALM DESERT CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Palm Desert City Council will meet in a
two-day Study Session for the purpose of considering and setting long-range goals and
objectives for the City. The Study Session will be held at Desert Springs,
a J.W. Marriott Resort& Spa, 74855 Country Club Drive, Salon Numbers One &Two,
Palm Desert, CA 92260. The schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday, January 15, 2008 — 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Wednesday, January 16, 2008 — 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
