Grant exception to bidding requirements, as provided for by Section 3.32.090 of the Municipal Code, for Fiscal Year 2008-09 2. Approve Various Landscape and Irrigation Vendors and Qualified Service Providers List Discussion: The Landscape Services Division of the Public Works Department and the Parks and Recreation Department utilizes a variety of vendors and services regularly. The approval of the list will simplify the process to purchase and acquire the services needed. The Landscape and Recreation Services Divisions utilize the vendors and services listed, because they offer immediate accessibility and/or wholesale/discounted pricing, or they are the only local source. This allows the City to save money and operate at a more efficient level. Staff has opened and posted the vendor list and will follow this process yearly for potential vendors. Purchases and/or services valued at more that $25,000 will follow the standard procedure for procurement.
