Background: The City of Palm Desert endeavors to remain current in obtaining information to analyze pending legislation at both the State and National level. StateNet, a company located in Sacramento, California, provides legislative and regulatory reporting services, as well as information and intelligence gathering, votes, positions, and other pertinent information on these types of issues. StateNet provides vital information and has become a valuable tool in analyzing the effect that pending legislation will have on the City of Palm Desert. Staff recommends that Contract No. C 2s43o in the amount of $1,890 be approved.
