BACKGROUND: Due to the resignation of Russell Campbell, the position as the City of Palm Desert Representative to the Joslyn Senior Center Board of Directors is currently vacant. Attached is an apptication from Palm Desert resident Pamela Plick to fill this position. Ms. Plick has indicated her willingness to serve in this position. Therefore, it is recommended that she be appointed to the subject board. I have been in the financial services industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining Edward Jones in 2007, I was a Vice President in the Global Wealth and Investment Management Division of Bank of America. I have extensive experience working with high net worth professionals,retirees and sma11 business owners. I focus on helping my clients build and preserve wealth through proactive planning and customized investment solutions. My goal is to educate my clients and the public on the role financial planning should play in their lives and in achieving their long term financial goals. I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certificant. I have completed the CFP Professional Education Program through the College For Financial Planning and passed the rigorous two-day CFPTM comprehensive exam. In addition, I also hold the specialized designation of Accredited Wealth Management Advisor.
