C30970, DOUG WALL CONSTRUCTION, INC., FOR PARCEL A & D LOT PAD STABILIZATION SUBMITTED BY: Heather Buck, Project Coordinator CONTRACTOR: Doug Wall Construction, Inc. 78-450 Avenue 41 Bermuda Dunes, CA 92203 DATE: October 13, 2011 CONTENTS: Notice of Completion Exhibit A — Locator Map Recommendation By Minute Motion: Accept the work as complete and authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. Background On July 14, 2011, the City Council awarded Contract C30970 to Doug Wall Construction, Inc. in the amount of $24,928.00 for the stabilization of Parcels A and D at Desert Willow as required to maintain the vacant land until final disposition of the property. Construction of the stabilization measures are now complete and provide effective dust control mitigation for both vacant parcels. The Landscape Department has inspected the work and has found it to be complete; therefore, staff recommends that the City Clerk be authorized to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
