Thank you for your service to the City of Palm Desert's Building Board of Appeals & Condemnation.
The City enjoys the success it does today due in great part to the participation of its residents and
community members on committees and commissions. Your input to the Board was invaluable to us.
On behalf of the citizens of Palm Desert, the City Council would like to extend its appreciation for your
time and effort. We invite you to the Regular Meetings of the Palm Desert City Council and Successor
Agency to the Redevelopment Agency at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 27, 2012, in the Civic
Center Council Chamber, when we will make a presentation to publicly recognize your service at the

As a matter of official business with your departure from the Board, enclosed is a 2011 /2012 Form 700 -
Statement of Economic Interests for your completion under the "Type of Statement" category as a
Leaving Office. The effective date will be September 13, 2012, and the period covered by the
statement will be January 1, 2012, through the date of leaving office.
For your convenience, I have included a copy of your 2011/2012 annual filing, a copy of the Appendix
List of Designated Positions to the City's Conflict of Interest Code, and additional materials from the Fair
Political Practices Commission. Your completed and signed statement is due in my office no later than
5:00 p.m. on Monday. October 15, 2012 (30 days from this notification). You may also want to take
advantage of the ability to complete your Form 700 online at the Fair Political Practices Commission's
website: http://www.fppc.ca.gov/ (see enclosed screen prints for details).
