Grant an exception to the bidding requirements, as provided for by Section 3.32.090 of the Municipal Code for FY13/14; 2. Approve the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Vendor List; and 3. Approve the Corporation Yard Various Vendors and Qualified Service Providers List. Backctround The Corporation Yard utilizes a variety of vendors and services on a regular basis. The vendors and services listed are used because they offer immediate accessibility and/or wholesale/discounted pricing, or they are the only local source. The approval of the lists will simplify the process to purchase and acquire the services needed and will allow the City to save money and operate at a more efficient level. Staff has posted an invitation to potential vendors, who may apply throughout the year for next year's approval. This will be an annual approval process.
