Roy's, named after the late 4"' District County Supervisor Roy wlson, is located at 19531 McLane Street in Norfh Palm Springs where it is easily accessible from all Coachella Valley cities (I-10/Indian Avenue exit). Roy's opened on December 21, 2009. Clients at Roy's have access to a full range of services needed to move toward independence. These services remove the sometimes insurmountable obstacle of traveling from one service provider to the next. Average stay at Roy's is approximately 90 days. Operations: Roy's is administered by CVAG staff through a contract with Jewish Family Service of San Diego (JFSSD), known locally as Desert SOS, a non-profit organization that has operated two sheltering programs in the Coachella Valley since 2005.
