At the May 13, 2013 meeting of the Palm Desert High school Foundation Board of Directors,
the following resolution was adopted:
0
Whereas the City of Palm Springs official band is the Palm Springs High School
Marching Band and whereas the City of Cathedral City official band is the Cathedral City
High School Marching band, therefore the Palm Desert High School Foundation requests
that the City of Palm Desert consider naming the Palm Desert High School Bands as the
official City bands of Palm Desert.
The Palm Desert High School Bands consist of:
Palm Desert High School Marching Aztecs Palm Desert High School Wind Ensemble
Palm Desert High School Concert Band Palm Desert High School Jazz Ensemble
Palm Desert High School Percussion Ensemble Palm Desert High School Color Guard
Upon mutual agreement of date and time by the City and PDHS Bands, the appropriate band
ALUMNI would be available to perform at official City of Palm Desert functions.
