REQUEST: REQUEST TO DECLARE VEHICLES, AS SURPLUS AND
AUTHORIZED DISPOSAL AS PROPOSED

Recommendation
By Minute Motion, declare vehicles and equipment as surplus and
authorized disposal as proposed.
Background
The vehicles on the attached list are surplus, non -operational, or are no longer needed.
The following recommendation is made for disposal:
Item No. 1
Vehicle No.48, 2000 CNG F-150 license plate No. 1068746, has been placed out of
service, due to the fact that the CNG tanks expiring in August 2014. This vehicle's
current miles, is 110230. It is recommended to surplus and auction the vehicle.
Items 2 and 3
Vehicle No 220, 2002 E450 CNG Van; LP No. 1154588 and Vehicle No. 221, 2002 Ford
E-450 CNG Van; LP No. 1154591, are not being used as anticipated. They have not
been used in the past two years and are deteriorating as they sit in the maintenance
facility's parking lot. Both vans are in need of replacing the fuel nozzle, which is costly.
Vehicle No. 220, current miles is 128653 and the mileage on vehicle No. 221 is 150023.
It is recommended to surplus and auction both vehicles.
