Thank you for your service to the City of Palm Desert's Audit, Investment and Finance Committee! The
City enjoys the success it does today due in great part to the participation of residents and community
members on its committees and commissions -- your service was invaluable.
On behalf of the citizens of Palm Desert, the City Council would like to extend its appreciation for your
time and effort. We invite you to the Regular Meetings of the Palm Desert City Council and Successor
Agency to the Redevelopment Agency at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13, 2014, in the Civic
Center Council Chamber, when we will make a presentation to publicly recognize your service at the

As a matter of official business with your departure from the Committee, enclosed is a 2013/2014
Form 700 - Statement of Economic Interests for your completion under the "Type of Statement"
category as a combination of Annual/Leaving Office. The effective date will be January 23, 2014, and
the period covered by the statement will be January 1, 2013 - January 23, 2014 (date of leaving office).
For your convenience, I have included a copy of your 2012/2013 filing, a copy of the Appendix List of
Designated Positions to the City's Conflict of Interest Code, and additional material from the Fair
Political Practices Commission. Your completed and sianed statement is due in my office no later than
5:00 p.m. on Monday. February 24. 2014 (30 days from the date of Ieavina office. with February 22
falling on a Saturday). You may also want to take advantage of the ability to complete your Form 700
online at the Fair Political Practices Commission's website: http://www.fppc.ca.aov/ (see enclosed
screen prints for reference), then print, sign, and submit.
