HomeMy WebLinkAboutPrclmatn - S.Lynn SnodgrassWhereas, Community Service Officer (CSO) Sandra (Sandy) Lynn Snodgrass is a resident of the City of Palm Desert and has two children, Garrett Shane Lewis and Eric Lane Lewis; and Whereas, Sandy was hired by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department on February 10th, 1996; and Whereas, she was subsequently assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff's Palm Desert Station; and Whereas, during the time of Sandy's employment with the City of Palm Desert she received numerous commendations for performance above and beyond the expectations required of her employment; and Whereas, CSO Sandy Snodgrass honorably retired from service on December 3Oth, 2013 after faithfully and diligently serving the City of Palm Desert for seventeen years. Now, Therefore, I, Van G. Tanner, Mayor of the City of Palm Desert, California, Along With the Entire City Council, Do Hereby Proclaim Thursday, January 9th, 2014, as Sandra (Sandy) Lynn Snodgrass Day in the City of Palm Desert and urge all residents to join me in expressing our appreciation for her contributions and service to our community, with our best wishes for many years of continued success in the future.
