By Minute Motion:
1. Waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 2014- 9a authorizing
the City Manager to execute documents related to the submission of an
application for a rubberized pavement grant from CalRecycle.
Background
CalRecycle has issued a call for applications for a Rubberized Pavement Grant. The grant
will pay $10 per ton of Rubberized Asphalt used on the project. The Public Works
Department has identified Town Center Way and Portola Avenue between Country Club
Drive and Desert Willow Court as streets that can benefit from the grant. These two streets
are scheduled to be repaved in Fiscal Year 2015-16, and the grant would offset the City's
cost by an estimated $45,000.
Fiscal Analysis
Approving the resolution will allow the City to receive an estimated $45,000 grant funds.
