obtains bids depending on the type of supply, service or maintenance to be completed.
Bids are always requested of local providers as well as outside the area to ensure
competitive pricing.
The attached list supercedes all previous vendor lists and amendments. Generally, more
than one provider has been listed to ensure availability and competitive pricing. Several
service providers have a maximum per occurrence in order for recurring maintenance to
be accomplished routinely and in a timely manner.
Staff will request changes to the list from time to time as is necessary to ensure quality,
reliability, and availability of service, supplies and maintenance providers. Staff requests
approval of this request to facilitate the continued routine, recurring maintenance of the
properties. The Housing Commission reviewed and approved this recommendation at its
regular meeting of December 13, 2006.
