PRbJECT DESCRIPTION
We �re proposing to prov[de s�ruc�ural �nglneering services for the restructure of the l.aguna Palms
Apartments, "A", "A-R", "B", "B-R", "C", and "C-R". The pra�ect is an existing single story wood frame
apartment complex.
WORK TNCLUDES
The complete servic�s to be provided by Knapp &Associates, Inc. with respect to �he project will be the
faliawing:
Structural Calculatians
Structural CAD prawings
Review of Shop Drawings
Plan Check Review
Coord(na�lon with Architect
Construcfion coordination
Site Visits (4 tat�l}
WORK EXCLUDED
The�ollowing tasks are not a part of the services or scope of services
Site walls (by separate agreement)

As compensation for the services to be performed by Knapp &Associates, Inc., Clienti is required to and wiil
pay�o Knapp &Associates the follawing; upon satisfactory comptetion of indicated tasks:
Fifteen 7housand Dollars ($i5,000�
Knapp &Associates, Inc., may assess a monthly se�vice charge equai ta one and ane half percent (i �/2%) of
any portion af such compensati(an no��imefy pald. Such servlce charge will accrue and become payable on the
same day af each month beginning on the day such amount was due, Such compensation is due and payable
without deduction or set-off.

Knapp &Associates, Inc., will pertorm the services in accordance wi�h the s�andards of care and diligence
normally practiced by engfneering firms in perfarming services similar in nature.
ATTORNEYS' FEES
If Knapp &Associates, Inc., or Client takes or commences any actian or praceeding, including litigation or
arbitration, against the other by reason of any breach or cfaimed breach of any pravision of, or in any way
connccted with this Agreernent, or seeks a judicial declaration of provision of, or in any way connected with,
this A�reement, the party prevailing in sueh action or proceeding wili be entitl�d to recover from the other
party the prevailing parly's reasonable at�orney's fees and costs, including, but not limited to, all expert
witness fees, other witness fees and associated expenses, whether or not the proceeding or action proceeds to
judgment,
