A. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO REJECT ALL BIDS RECEIVED
FOR THE REMOVAL, DEMOLITION, AND BACKFILL OF NINE (9)
PONDS AT ONE QUAIL PLACE (CONTRACT NO. HA33070).
Rec: By Minute Motion, reject all bids received for the Removal,
Demolition, and Backfill of Nine (9) Ponds at One Quail Place that
were opened on October 16, 2013, at 2:00 p.m.

B. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH RAY LOPEZ ASSOCIATES FOR DESIGN OF THE
LANDSCAPE AND DEMOLITION PLANS FOR THE BACKFILL OF NINE
(9) PONDS AT ONE QUAIL PLACE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$13,310 (CONTRACT NO. HA33070A).
Rec: 1) Approve the subject Professional Services
Agreement, substantially as to form, with Ray Lopez
Associates, Palm Desert, California, for the Design of
Landscape and Demolition Plans for the Backfill of
Ponds at One Quail Place in an amount not to exceed
$12,100 ($11,300 for base contract work, $800 for
extra services, including bidding and construction
services, if needed).
2) Authorize reimbursable expenses in an amount not to
exceed $1,210.
3) Authorize the Executive Director to execute the
Agreement and any documents necessary to facilitate
the Agreement - funds are available in the Housing
Authority Replacement Reserve Fund.

Any person wishing to discuss any item not scheduled for public hearing may address
the City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, or
Housing Authority Boards at this point by stepping to the lectern and giving his/her name
and address for the record. Remarks shall be limited to a maximum of three minutes
unless additional time is authorized by the City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm
Desert Redevelopment Agency, or Housing Authority Boards. Because the Brown Act
does not allow the City Council, Successor Agency to the Palm Desert Redevelopment
Agency, or Housing Authority Boards to take action on items not on the Agenda,
members will not enter into discussion with speakers but will instead refer the matter to
staff for report and recommendation at a future City Council, Successor Agency to the
Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, or Housing Authority meeting.
XIV. ADJOURNMENT
