HA36610 Recommendation By Minute Motion, that the Authority Board, 1) Reject all bids received for Construction of Mailbox Canopies and Carports Project at One Quail Place Apartments, Contract No. HA36610; and 2) Authorize staff to re -bid the Construction of Mailbox Canopies and Carports Project at One Quail Place Apartments. Housing Commission Recommendation The Housing Commission reviewed this recommendation at its regular meeting of February 14, 2018, and unanimously recommended approval of the staff recommendation. Strategic Plan This request does not apply to a specific strategic plan goal. Background Analysis Staff requested sealed bids for Construction of Mailbox Canopies and Carports Project at One Quail Place Apartments. The notice requesting bids for the Construction of Mailbox Canopies and Carports Project at One Quail Place Apartments was advertised in the local newspaper on December 29, 2017 and January 5, 2018 soliciting sealed bids. Three sealed bids were received on Friday, January 26, 2018; staff determined that all bids received were incomplete or did not meet the required qualifications and therefore non -responsive. Staff recommends that the Authority Board reject all bids and authorize staff to begin the process to re -advertise for the Construction of Mailbox Canopies and Carports Project at One Quail Place Apartments.
