REQUEST: Accept the work as complete for Contract No. HA36200 with
Cristobal R. Romero dba Reliable Tree Care, for 2017 Tree and
Stump Removal Services for the Housing Authority Properties
Recommendation
By Minute Motion, that the Authority Board,
1) Accept the work as complete for Contract No. HA36200 with Cristobal R.
Romero dba Reliable Tree Care, for 2017 Tree and Stump Removal
Services for the Housing Authority Properties; and
2) Authorize the Authority Secretary to file a Notice of Completion for the
project.
Housing Commission Recommendation,
The Housing Commission will review this recommendation at its regular meeting of
March 14, 2018. Upon request, a verbal report will be provided at the Authority's
regular meeting of March 22, 2018.

This request does not apply to a specific strategic plan goal.
Background Analysis
On July 13, 2017, the Palm Desert Housing Authority Board authorized the award of
Contract No. HA32600 to Cristobal R. Romero dba Reliable Tree Care ("Reliable Tree")
for 2017 Tree and Stump Removal Services for the Housing Authority Properties. The
Notice to Proceed was issued on October 2, 2017. The project work was extended
because additional work was requested. All contract work has been satisfactorily
completed and final inspections have been conducted by all City of Palm Desert
departments and the Authority's property management.
Staff requests that the Authority Secretary be authorized to file a Notice of Completion
with the County Recorder as acceptance that Contractor has completed all work.

That the interest or estate stated in paragraph 3 herein in the real property herein described is
SOLELY OWNED by the PALM DESERT HOUSING AUTHORITY, A PUBLIC BODY,
CORPORATE AND POLITIC, a political subdivision of the State of California, and whose address
is 73-510 FRED WARING DRIVE, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA.
2. That the full name and address of the owner of said interest or estate is set forth in the preceding
paragraph
3. That the nature of the title of the stated owner, as set forth in paragraph 1, is in fee.
