Recommendation:
By Minute Motion, that the Agency Board authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice
of Completion for the subject project.
Executive Summary:
Approval of the staff recommendation will enable closeout of the subject project.
Discussion:
On June 24, 2004, the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, by minute motion, awarded
Contract No. R21760 to John Barajas Masonry for construction of a retaining/garden perimeter
block wall. John Barajas has successfully completed the contract work. Staff has inspected the
project and has found the work to be complete and in compliance with the contract documents
and specifications.
Staff recommends that the Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, by minute motion, authorize
the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
1. That the interest or estate stated in paragraph 3 herein in the real property herein described is SOLELY
OWNED by the PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, PUBLIC BODY, CORPORATE AND POLITIC,
a political subdivision of the State of California, and whose address is 73-510 FRED WARING DRIVE,
PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA.
2. That the full name and address of the owner of said interest or estate is set forth in the preceding
paragraph.
3. That the nature of the title of the stated owner, as set forth in paragraph 1, is in fee.
4. That on the 23rd day of December, 2004, a work of improvement described as Contract No. R21760
on the real property herein described was completed.
5. That the name of the original contractor, if any, for said work of improvement was: John Barajas
Masonry, 42901 Lima Hall Road, Bermuda Dunes, CA 92203.
6. That the real property herein referred to is situated in the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside, State
of California, and is described as: Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
