The Brighton Collection, known for women's shoes, belts and handbags will locate in
the 1800 s.f. former JDE Gallery location in the second block of El Paseo District this
fall.
Coldwater Creek has acquired the former Loran, Loran store and will occupy 6,000 s.f.
this fall. Known as a woman's apparel catalog retailer, they have begun opening stores
that also include gifts and home accessories.
Che Che's, an independent woman's apparel shop will locate in the former White
House store in the first block of the El Paseo District.
Barbara Jones Art Gallery will open in the former Toot's Moore location. This is the
second location for this particular gallery that is also located in Carmel.
The street continues to have stores extend their hours. This year, both Chico's and the
Black Market/White House will now be open until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
PALMS TO PINES WEST II (VON'S CENTER)
Staff continues to work with the owners of the center to renovate the exterior of the
property, but in the meantime:
Von's has begun a $5 million interior renovation that will upgrade the store. Von's
believes they can fill a niche between the regular grocery store and the upscale grocer
by supplying both regular prices on the food staples and providing gourmet items.
Along the eastern side of the property Inches Away that is similar to the Curves
concept has opened this summer.
Hedi's Cafe will expand by twice their current size.
A dentist office will locate next to the vacant Locanda Toscana.

Negotiations are underway for an Asian fusion restaurant to locate in the former
Locanda Toscana.
WESTFIELD
New stores joining the more than 120 specialty shops at Westfield are O' My Sole,
Zumiez, Weiman Shoes, Sheikh Shoes, The Fashion Show and a newly expanded
Ritz Camera & Image.
