REQUEST: AUTHORIZE THE CITY CLERK TO FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION
FOR CONTRACT NO. R23810 (VIZION'S WEST, INC.) FOR THE
DEMOLITION OF THE ONE-STORY STRUCTURE LOCATED AT
44-215 SAN PASCUAL AVENUE (PROJECT NO. 961-05).

Recommendation:
By Minute Motion, that the Agency Board:
1) Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for Contract
No. R23810.
Discussion:
On July 14, 2005, the executive board awarded the subject contract to Vizion's West, Inc., in the
amount of $ 8,900 for the demolition of a single -story story structure located at 44-215 San
Pascual. Originally, there were two structures located on this property. The two-story structure
at the forefront of the property had been partially destroyed by fire and was an immediate health
and safety concern. This structure was demolished earlier in 2005. The second single -story
structure, located at the back of the property, was not demolished at the same time because its
tenant was in the process of relocation. Vizion's West has successfully completed the
demolition of the second structure.
Staff recommends that the Agency Board authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion
for the subject project.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
1. That the interest or estate stated in paragraph 3 herein in the real property herein
described is SOLELY OWNED by the REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a municipal corporation, a
political subdivision of the State of California, and whose address is 73-510 FRED WARING
DRIVE, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA.
2. That the full name and address of the owner of said interest or estate is set forth in the
preceding paragraph.
3. That the nature of the title of the stated owner, as set forth in paragraph 1, is in fee.
4. That on the 15'h day of November, 2005, a work of improvement described as Contract
No. R23810 on the real property herein described was completed.
5. That the name of the original contractor, if any, for said work of improvement was:
VIZION'S WEST, INC. 29060 GOETZ ROAD, QUAIL VALLEY, CALIFORNIA 92587.
6. That the real property herein referred to is situated in the City of Palm Desert, County of
Riverside, State of California, and is described as the demolition of a single story structure
located at 44-215 San Pascual Avenue.
