1) Declare the Redevelopment Manager's and Senior Management
Analyst's existing office furniture as surplus goods.
Executive Summarv:
Approval of the staff recommendation will allow staff to donate these furnishings to the Riverside
County Sheriff's Station in Palm Desert and the non-profit, Angel View Thrift Mart.
Discussion:
The existing furniture within these two offices was purchased over 20 years ago, and no longer
serves the functions needed for each individual's storage and workspace needs. New furniture
layouts were reviewed to evaluate the use of space in these two offices and approved by the
Redevelopment Manager and Senior Management Analyst.
These new furnishings will provide adequate work space and storage to meet staff's needs.
Staff has received approval of the drawn layouts, and would like to surplus existing furnishings
for donation.
