Funds are available in the Entrada Del Paseo capital improvement budget (Account No. 850-4358-433-4001). Executive Summary: Approval of staff recommendation will allow the signage contractor to add additional tenant panel signage on all existing monument and directional structures at Entrada Del Paseo for project completion. This signage will identify the new restaurant La Spiga, the Henderson Community Building, and the Chamber of Commerce. These identifications will help direct individuals to each building throughout the Entrada Del Paseo site. Discussion: The original Entrada monument and directional signs were installed in 2006. In the original design, tenant panels were left blank for future development. Now that Henderson is nearing completion and La Spiga is open for business, staff has requested pricing from three signage companies for fabrication and installation of additional tenant panel signs. Sign -A -Rama provided the lowest responsive estimate in the amount of $6,557 and staff is recommending approval. Staff Report Approve Award of Construction for Additional Tenant Panel Signage at Entrada Del Paseo Page 2 of 2 February 28, 2008 Along with the new monument and directional signs, Sign -A -Rama will supply the labor to sandblast "Chamber of Commerce" lettering into a rock monument in front of the Henderson Community Building for tenant identification. This sign will match existing on - site signage installed in the first phase of the Eric Johnson Gardens and will go to Planning for review if approved. The Henderson Building itself will have individual bronze lettering reading "Henderson Community Building" This sign will be installed by the general contractor. The Entrada Del Paseo Steering Committee Meeting Minutes indicated that all monument and directional signage should read "Henderson Building", with no mention of Chamber of Commerce signage. This staff report is presented to the Agency Board for approval to install "Chamber of Commerce" lettering on the new rock monument and existing directional signs. Attached you will find a site map showing existing sign locations, the number of tenant panels available, existing tenant signs, and new signs proposed. Staff recommends approval of these signage locations to further direct the public through the site and is presented here for your approval.
