C. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION of the Fabrication and Installation of
Monument Signage by Sign -A -Rama at Entrada del Paseo (Contract
No. R27350).
Rec: By Minute Motion, authorize Sign -A -Rama, Palm Desert, California,
to fabricate and install monument signage at Entrada del Paseo in the
amount of $6,557 — funds are available in the Entrada del Paseo
Capital Improvement Budget, Account No. 850-4358-433-4001.
D. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL of Amendment No. 4 to Contract No. R20550 —
Landscape Architecture Services Associated with the Entrada del Paseo
Project.
Rec: By Minute Motion, approve Amendment No. 4 in an amount not to
exceed $10,625 plus $300 for reimbursable expenses to the subject
contract with HSA Design Group, Inc., Palm Desert, California, and
authorize the Chairman to execute same for continued landscape
construction administration services for Entrada del Paseo projects —
funds are available in the Entrada del Paseo Capital Improvement
Budget, Account No. 850-4358-433-4001.

Upon motion by Spiegel, second by Ferguson, and 4-0 vote of the Agency Board,
with Kelly ABSENT, the Consent Calendar was approved as presented.

A. UPDATE ON THE CITY OF PALM DESERT, PALM DESERT
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, AND PALM DESERT HOUSING
AUTHORITY STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES (JOINT CONSIDERATION WITH
THE PALM DESERT CITY COUNCIL AND THE PALM DESERT HOUSING
AUTHORITY).
Vice Chairman/Mayor Spiegel moved to, by Minute Motion, receive and file the
Update on the City of Palm Desert, Palm Desert Redevelopment Agency, and Palm Desert
Housing Authority Strategic Objectives. Motion was seconded by Finerty and carried by
a 5-0 vote.
B. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO.4 TO CONTRACT
NO. R22600A — CONSTRUCTION OF THE HENDERSON COMMUNITY
BUILDING AT ENTRADA DEL PASEO.
Vice Chairman moved to, Minute Motion: 1) Approve Change Order No. 4 in the
amount of $80,354 to the subject contract with Steton Construction Group, Brea, California,
for cumulative requests for the Henderson Community Building and authorize the
Chairman to execute same; 2) authorize the Director of Finance to transfer said funds from
contingency to base for the project. Motion was seconded by Finerty and carried by a 4-0
vote, with Kelly ABSENT.

C. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE PARTIAL CERTIFICATE OF
COMPLETION FOR PHASE III (30 SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES) AND THE
MODELS PHASE (4 SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES) AT THE FALCON CREST
DEVELOPMENT (CONTRACT NO. R23390) (ComDyn PD, LLC,
Santa Monica, CA).
Vice Chairman Spiegel moved to, by Minute Motion, approve the Partial Certificate
of Completion for Phase III (30 Single-family Homes) and the Models Phase (4 Single-
family Homes) at the Falcon Crest Development. Motion was seconded by Ferguson and
carried by a 4-0 vote, with Kelly ABSENT.
D. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO CONTRACT
NO. R24780 —CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES AT ENTRADA
DEL PASEO.
Vice Chairman Spiegel moved to, by Minute Motion, approve Amendment No. 3 in
the amount of $76,100 to the subject contract with Douglas E. Barnhart, Inc., Palm Desert,
California, for continued construction management services at Entrada del Paseo and
authorize the Chairman to execute same — funds are available in Account No.
850-4358-433-4001. Motion was seconded by Finerty and carried by a 4-0 vote, with Kelly
ABSENT.
E. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER NO.3 TO CONTRACT
NO. R25590 — CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE II (LAS SPIGA) CIVIL
IMPROVEMENTS AT ENTRADA DEL PASEO.
Responding to question about what the change order was for, Mr. Ortega
said the project was originally designed as turf lot, but the project had been
build up that staff decided to create more parking spaces
Vice Chairman Spiegel moved to, by Minute Motion: 1) Approve Change Order No.
3 in the amount of $137,580 to the subject contract with Jacobsson Engineering
Construction, Inc., Palm Desert, California, and authorize the Chairman to execute same;
2) authorize the Director of Finance to transfer $33,007 from contingency to base for the
subject project; 3) add the remaining $104,573 to base contract from the approved Capital
Improvement Budget, Account No. 850-4358-433-4001. Motion was seconded by Finerty
and carried by a 4-0 vote, with Kelly ABSENT.
