Recommendation:
By Minute Motion, that the Agency authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice
of Completion for the project known as the Eric Johnson Memorial Garden
Phase II (Contract No. R21090A).
Executive Summarv:
Approval of staff recommendation authorizes the City Clerk to file a Notice of
Completion for Eric Johnson Memorial Garden Phase II project. The project is now
complete.
Discussion:
On September 13, 2007, the Agency Board awarded Contract R21090A to Sierra
Landscape Company, Inc., in the amount of $2,440,600 for the Entrada del Paseo
Phase 2 Landscaping. The project included the following components:
• Eric Johnson Landscaping Phase II (Indian Canyon);
• Multi -Sensory Gardens (north of Henderson Building);
• Landscaping surrounding La Spiga Restaurant;
• Landscaping adjacent to the Palm Valley Storm Channel
Since all work included in Contract R21090A has been satisfactorily completed and all
final inspections have been conducted by all departments and agencies that have

jurisdiction, staff recommends that the City Clerk be authorized to file a Notice of
Completion with the County Recorder.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:
1. That the interest or estate stated in paragraph 3 herein in the real property herein described is SOLELY
OWNED by the PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, A PUBLIC BODY, CORPORATE AND
POLITIC, a political subdivision of the State of California, and whose address is 73-510 FRED WARING
DRIVE, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA.
2. That the full name and address of the owner of said interest or estate is set forth in the preceding
paragraph.
3. That the nature of the title of the stated owner, as set forth in paragraph 1, is in Fee.
4. That on the 11th day of September, 2008, a work of improvement described as Contract No. R21090A
on the real property herein described was completed.
5. That the name of the original contractor, if any, for said work of improvement was: Sierra Landscape
Company, Inc., 73-771 Dinah Shore Drive, Suite 200, Palm Desert, California 92211.
6. That the real property herein referred to is situated in the City of Palm Desert, County of Riverside,
State of California, and is described as 72-557 Highway 111 and 72-577 Highway 111, Palm Desert, California
92260.
