REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION to Advertise and Call for Sealed Bids for Improvements to Perimeter Landscaping at the Northeast Corner of Country Club Drive and Desert Willow Drive (Contract No. R29260). RESOLUTION NO. 564 - A RESOLUTION OF THE PALM DESERT REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, PALM DESERT, CALIFORNIA, DETERMINING THAT PLANNING AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES INCLUDED IN THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY'S LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING FUND ARE NECESSARY FOR THE PRODUCTION, IMPROVEMENT, AND PRESERVATION OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME HOUSING. Rec: Waive further reading and adopt. Action: X. NEW BUSINESS None XI. CONTINUED BUSINESS None XII. OLD BUSINESS None 3 POSTED AGENDA REGULAR PALM DESERT CITY COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 24, 2009 XII. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF PROPOSED SALE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 74-530 KING FISHER CIRCLE, PALM DESERT (APN 624- 440-009), PURSUANT TO HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33433(c). Rec: 1) Conduct a public hearing and accept testimony on the proposed sale of the property located at 74-530 King Fisher Circle, Palm Desert, to a qualified household of low or moderate income. 2) Following public testimony, waive further reading and adopt Resolution No. 565, approving the sale of 74-530 King Fisher Circle (APN 624-440-009) to a qualified household of low or moderate income pursuant to the Purchase and Sale Agreement. 3) By Minute Motion, authorize the Executive Director to finalize and execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement and any ancillary documents related to the sale to a qualified household of low or moderate income.
