VI. CONSENT CALENDAR
A. MINUTES of the Regular Redevelopment Agency Meeting of May 27, 2010.
Rec: Approve as presented.
Approved. 4-0-1 (Ferguson ABSTAINING)
B. CLAIMS AND DEMANDS AGAINST THE AGENCY TREASURY - Warrant
Nos. 239RDA, 241 RDA, 242-Housing, and 243-Housing.

C. COMPLIANCE ANALYSIS AND INVESTMENT REPORTS for the Month of
April 2010 (Joint Consideration with the Palm Desert City Council).

D. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION forthe Chairman to Execute a Quitclaim
Deed Conveying Fourteen (14) Vacant Lots Associated with the Self-help
Units Located on Merle Street from the Redevelopment Agency to the
City of Palm Desert.
Rec: By Minute Motion, authorize the Chairman to execute a Quitclaim
Deed, conveying 14 vacant lots intended for Self-help Home
Ownership to the City of Palm Desert,
E. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL of Three Contracts for Redevelopment
Consulting Services in a Total Amount Not to Exceed $50,000.
Rec: By Minute Motion, authorize award of the following Redevelopment
Consulting Services Contracts and authorize the Chairman to execute
same: 1) Keyser Marston Associates, Inc., in an amount not to
exceed $10,000 (Contract No. R29850A); 2) Rosenow Spevacek
Group, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $10,000 (Contract
No. R29850B); 3) REASCO in an amount not to exceed $30,000
(Contract No. R29850C) — funds are available in the respective
Professional Service Accounts for each Project Area.
Vice Chairman Ferguson stated he would be abstaining on Item A.

Upon a motion by Ferguson, second by Benson, and 5-0 vote of the Agency Board,
with Ferguson ABSTAINING on Item A, the remainder of the Consent Calendar was
approved as presented.

XIV. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - C
MS. BARBARA deBOOM, President/CEO of the Palm Desert Chamber of
Commerce stated that after hearing of the possibility of the Art Museum being a
neighbor, she was concerned about security and having the building staffed during
the time the Museum was open with communication into the building to take calls
and things along that line.
Vice Chairman Ferguson responded the Palm Springs Art Museum planned to put
more than $20 million worth of art in that building, so he was confident it would be
staffed, security guarded, making the area safer than ever.
MS. deBOOM inquired on the timing of the Museum occupying the building.
Vice Chairman Ferguson responded it would be this summer.
Chairman Finerty stated she hoped to start the season right and today the
City Council made decisions to allow that endeavor to move forward.
V. ADJOURNMENT
With Agency Board concurrence, Chairman Finerty adjourned the meeting at
4:47 p.m.
