A 46-year-old male was identified as the suspect in a vandalism earlier in the day. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 10:46 AM – Domestic Violence Arrest – Deputies responded to a domestic violence call for service near the 73000 block of Vermeer Way in Palm Desert. Deputies determined that a 27- year-old male from Palm Desert assaulted his girlfriend. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 12:30 PM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of Alessandro Drive and Portola Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 59-year-old male from Palm Desert. Deputies located narcotics and narcotics paraphernalia on the male’s person. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Deputies contacted a 35-year-old male who refused to leave the location. Deputies contacted a 45-year-old male from Palm Desert. A records check revealed the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 11:48 AM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies were dispatched to a report of public intoxication near the intersection of Highway 111 and Portola Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 40-year-old male from Jurupa Valley who showed obvious signs of intoxication and could not care for himself. Deputies contacted a 32-year-old male from Palm Desert. A records check revealed the male had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 9:56 PM – Narcotics Arrest – Deputies were dispatched near the intersection of Deep Canyon Road and Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a disturbance. Deputies contacted a 24-year- old male who showed obvious signs of being under the influence of narcotics. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Tuesday, April 01, 2025 11:31 AM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded near the 34000 block of Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert regarding a welfare check. Deputies located a 35-year-old male from Palm Desert who showed obvious signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Video surveillance in the area showed the male driving his vehicle prior to being contacted. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Wednesday, April 02, 2025 12:28 PM – Burglary Arrest – Deputies responded near the 76000 block of Oxford Drive in Palm Desert regarding a suspicious person. Deputies contacted a 22-year-old male from Palm Desert who was seen jumping over a fence in the area. Further investigation revealed the male had kicked in a door to a residence and ransacked it. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 3:06 PM – Domestic Violence Arrest – Deputies were dispatched near the 72000 block of Hwy 111 in Palm Desert regarding a domestic disturbance. Deputies contacted a 46-year-old male from Indio. Further investigation determined that the male had assaulted his significant other. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 3:33 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Gerald Ford Drive and Technology Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 64-year-old male from Indio and a 57-year-old male from Palm Springs. A records check of the males revealed they both had outstanding warrants for their arrest. The males were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
