Deputies contacted a 32-year-old-male from Riverside. The male was found to be in possession of numerous stolen items, spray paint cans, and burglary tools. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Friday, May 09, 2025 12:28 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of Alessandro Drive and Portola Avenue. Deputies contacted a 60-year-old-male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 4:35 PM – Shoplifting Arrest – Deputies responded to the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a shoplifter in custody at the location. Deputies contacted a 37-year-old- female and 41-year-old female both from Desert Hot Springs. Deputies determined the females had attempted to leave the location with numerous items of merchandise from the location. Both females were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Saturday, May 10, 2025 1:34 AM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of Catalina Way and San Pablo Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted one of the drivers as 46-year-old male from Palm Desert who showed obvious signs of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Deputies arrived and contacted a 39-year-old male from Indio who showed obvious signs of being under the influence of an illegal narcotic. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 3:32 PM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest- Deputies conducted a vehicle check near the intersection of Portola Avenue and Chicory Street in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 34- year-old male from Cathedral City who showed objective signs of intoxication and admitted to driving the vehicle. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 8:55 PM – Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to the 100 block of Old Ranch Rd in Palm Desert regarding a domestic disturbance. Deputies contacted a 65-year-old female from Palm Desert and determined she had instigated a physical altercation with her spouse. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 10:55 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Town Center Way and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 46-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had multiple warrants for his arrest. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Tuesday, May 13, 2025 12:15 PM - Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to the 900 block of Andreas Canyon, in Palm Desert, regarding a medical emergency. Deputies contacted a 26-year-old-male from Palm Desert who was in a heightened state of intoxication and unable to care for himself. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 1:54 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up investigation regarding a theft that occurred at a business in the city of Palm Desert. Deputies identified the suspect as a 41-year- old-female from Hemet. Deputies responded to the female’s residence in Hemet and located her at the location. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 7:17 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to the 44000 block of Town Center Way in Palm Desert regarding a shoplifter in-custody. Deputies arrived and contacted a 39-year-old male from La Quinta. Deputies determined the male had attempted to take a pair of shoes from the location. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 11:23 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to 73000 block of Santa Rosa Way regarding a disturbance. Deputies arrived and contacted a 39-year-old male from Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his arrest. Deputies contacted a 33-year-old male from Van Nuys. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had multiple active warrants for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 7:16 PM – Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Deputies conducted an area check near the intersection of Country Club Drive and Park Center in Palm Desert regarding a stolen vehicle in the area. Deputies located the vehicle and contacted the driver a 42-year-old-male from Cathedral City. Deputies confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen and the male was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
