Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, June 12, 2025
8:10 AM – Hit and Run Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up investigation regarding a
previous hit and run traffic collision that occurred in Palm Desert. Deputies located the suspect
vehicle near the intersection of Highway 74 and Indian Hills Way in Palm Desert. Deputies
contacted the driver a 19-year-old male from La Quinta. The male admitted to driving the
vehicle and fleeing the scene during the collision. The male was arrested and booked at the
county jail in Indio.
11:38 AM – Trespassing/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted an area check near the
intersection of Parkview Drive and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 51 -year-
old male from Coachella. Deputies determined the male had been previously admonished from
the location and asked to leave multiple times. The male was arrested and booked at the
county jail in Indio.
12:11 PM – Theft/Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up investigation regarding a
previous theft in Palm Desert. Deputies were able to determine a vehicle involved in the theft
and located near the intersection of Clinton Street and Miles Avenue in Indio. Deputies
contacted the driver of the vehicle a 36-year-old-male from Indio and determined he was the
suspect in the theft. The male was also determined to have an active warrant for his arrest. The
male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
5:05 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted an area check near the intersection of Town
Center Way and Hahn Road in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted 40 -year-old male from
Cathedral City who was observed using illegal narcotics. The male was arrested and booked at
the county jail in Indio.

5:57 PM - Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 74000 block of Country
Club Drive in Palm Desert regarding a vandalism. Deputies contacted a 62-year-old male from
Huntington Beach and determined he had broken multiple light fixtures at the location. The
male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
7:43 PM – Intoxicated in Public Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 74000 block of
Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding an intoxicated person. Deputies contacted a 38 -year-old-
male from Palm Desert. The male was found to be in a heighten state of intoxication an unable
to care for himself. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

2:02 AM – Criminal Threats / Trespassing Arrest – Deputies responded to a business near the
intersection of Highway 111 and Plaza Way in in Palm Desert regarding a subject trespassing at
the location. Deputies contacted a 49-year-old-male from Palm Desert. Deputies determined
the male had been previously admonished for trespassing from the location and told not to
return. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
4:47 PM – Trespassing Arrest – Deputies responded to a business inn the 34000 block of
Monterey Avenue regarding a suspicious person. Deputies arrived and contacted a 46 -year-old
male from Palm Desert. Deputies determined the male had been previously admonished for
trespassing from the location and told not to return. The male was arrested and booked at the
county jail in Indio.
4:30 PM – Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 74000 block of
El Camino in Palm Desert regarding a suspicious person. Deputies contacted a 34 -year-old-male
from Palm Desert who displayed obvious signs of being under the influence of an illegal
narcotic. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

4:30 PM – Theft/ Narcotics Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of
Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a shoplifter at the location. Deputies contacted 65-year-
old-male from Cathedral City and determined the male had attempted to take multiple items of
merchandise from the location. Deputies also located illegal narcotics in the male’s possession.
The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
5:38 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111
in Palm Desert regarding shoplifters at the location. Deputies contacted a 63 -year-old-male and
a 43-year-old-female from Palm Springs. Deputies determined the male and female had
attempted to take multiple items of merchandise from the location. The male was arrested and
booked at the county jail in Indio.
9:51 PM – Battery/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies responded to the 74000 block of King Fisher
Circle regarding a disturbance. Deputies and contacted a 26 -year-old male from Cathedral City.
Deputies determined that male had instigated a physical altercation with another subject at the
location. The male was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics. The male was arrested
and booked at the county jail in Indio.

2:13 PM – Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to the 43000 block of Portola Avenue
regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted a 37 -year-old-male from Palm Desert and
determined he had instigated a physical altercation with his spouse. The male was arrested and
booked at the county jail in Indio.
10:56 PM – Domestic Battery Arrest –Deputies responded to the 73000 block of Country Club
Drive in Palm Desert reference a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted a 26-year-old-male from
Palm Desert. Deputies determined the male had instigated a physical altercation with his
spouse. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

5:50 AM – Assault Arrest – Deputies responded to the 43000 block of Cook St in Palm Desert,
regarding a disturbance. Deputies contacted a 70-year-old-female from Palm Desert. Deputies
determined the femela had attempted to assault a security guard at the location with a bladed
object. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
10:05 AM – Burglary/Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up investigation
regarding a burglary in Palm Desert. Deputies determined a male subject had entered a
residence and stole the homeowner’s vehicle keys and vehicle. The suspect was identified a 45 -
year-old-male from Bermuda Dunes. Deputies contacted the male at his residence in Bermuda
Dunes. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
1:08 AM – Theft/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 74000 block of
County Club Drive in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 36 -year-old male from
Indio and determined he had attempted to steal merchandise from the location. The male was
arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

1:03 PM – Registration Fraud Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of
Palm Desert Drive and Larkspur. Deputies contacted the driver a 45 -year-old-female from Palm
Desert. It was discovered the female had placed a current registration sticker on her vehicle
which was determined to have been expired years prior. The female was arrested and booked
at the county jail in Indio.
6:09 PM – Weapons Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of San
Pablo Avenue and Fred Waring Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the driver a 31 -year-
old-male from Palm Desert who advised he was on probation. Deputies conducted a probation
search of his vehicle and located an illegal weapon in the male’s vehicle. The male was arrested
and booked at the county jail in Indio.
