Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, July 24, 2025
3:30 PM – Robbery Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway
111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 35-year-old male from La Quinta
and determined he had instigated a physical altercation with staff when attempting to steal
merchandise from the establishment. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in
Indio.
5:00 PM – Weapons/Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a follow up at a business in the
72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert where deputies located firearm components inside
of a towed vehicle. Deputies determined the occupants of the vehicle a 37-year-old male from
Indio and a 33-year-old male from Cathedral City. Deputies located the subjects in another
vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. Deputies located multiple firearms and narcotics inside of
the vehicle. Both males were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

6:34 PM – Trespassing Arrest – Deputies responded to the 75000 block of Montage Parkway, in
Palm Desert, regarding subjects who had been previously evicted from their property had
returned to the location. Deputies contacted a 48-year-old female and a 57-year-old male both
from Palm Desert. Deputies determined both subjects had illegally entered the property after
being formally evicted from the location. Both the male and female were arrested and booked
at the county jail in Indio.

4:33 PM - Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the area of Larkspur and
El Paseo regarding a vehicle driving erratically in the area. Deputies located the vehicle and
contacted a 46-year-old male from Palm Springs who showed obvious signs of intoxication. The
male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

3:25 PM – Resisting an Officer Arrest – Deputies observed a male walking in and out of traffic
near Highway 111 and Deep Canyon Rd in Palm Desert causing a significant traffic
hazard. Deputies contact a 31-year-old male from Palm Springs who refused to comply with
deputies. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
5:56 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a vehicle stop near the intersection of
Highway 111 and Panorama Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted the driver a 34-year-old
male from Indio. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his
arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.

2:12 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Dinah Shore
Drive, in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 60-year-old female from Rancho
Mirage and determined she had attempted to take multiple items of merchandise from the
location. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
7:34 PM - Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111,
in Palm Desert, regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 23-year-old male from Palm Springs and
determined he had attempted to take multiple items of merchandise from the location. The
male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
5:30 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of
Fred Warring Drive and Town Center Way in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 39-year-old
male from Cathedral City. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had multiple active
warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
8:00 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check near the intersection of
Highway 111 and Desert Crossing in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 74-year-old male from
Cathedral City. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his
arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
10:15 PM – Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to the 42000 block of Kansas Street,
in Palm Desert regarding a domestic dispute. Deputies contacted a 51-year-old male from Palm
Desert. Deputies determined the male had instigated a physical altercation with his spouse. The
male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
10:51 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of Portola Avenue and
Fred Waring Drive regarding a check the welfare. Deputies contacted 53-year-old male from
Palm Desert. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had multiple active warrant for
his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
