Deputies contacted a 35-year-old male from Palm Desert who showed obvious signs of intoxication from an illegal controlled substance. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 2:05 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 37-year-old male from Coachella. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had an active warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 2:31 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 40-year-old male from Cathedral City. Deputies determined the male had attempted to take multiple items of merchandise from the location. Deputies conducted a search of the male and also located illegal narcotics in his possession.
