Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Thursday, October 16, 2025 12:30 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Dinah Shore Drive in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 38-year-old male from Cathedral City who stole merchandise without paying. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Friday, October 17, 2025 12:18 AM – Weapons Violation, Narcotics, and Warrant Arrest - Deputies responded to a residence located in the 74000 block of El Camino in Palm Desert regarding a suspicious person. Deputies contacted a 45-year-old female from Indio and located brass knuckles and narcotics in the female’s possession. An inquiry of the female’s information showed that she had a warrant of her arrest. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 1:30 PM – Theft Arrest – Deputies identified a 40-year-old male and a 40-year-old female from Rialto as the suspects of a theft that occurred at a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies conducted follow-up and located the suspects. The suspects were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 3:24 PM – Warrant Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Rancho Road and Portola Avenue in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 61 -year-old male from Desert Hot Springs. An inquiry of the male’s information showed that he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 4:00 PM – Weapons Violation and Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of San Luis Rey Avenue and Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 38 - year-old male from Desert Hot Springs. Deputies located narcotics and ammunition in the male’s possession. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 8:04 PM – Theft and Warrant Arrest – Deputies responded to a business in the 72000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert regarding a theft. Deputies contacted a 34-year-old male from Palm Springs who discovered he took merchandise from the business without p aying. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he had a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 9:18 PM – Felony Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 43000 block of Portola Avenue in Palm Desert regarding a battery. Deputies arrived and located a victim with significant injuries. Deputies contacted a 36-year-old male from Palm Desert at the scene and identified him as the suspect. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 10:45 PM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at a business in the 73000 block of Highway 111 in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 40-year-old male from Palm Springs who had a heightened level of intoxication and was unable to care for himself. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Palm Desert Station Significant Incident Report for Saturday, October 18, 2025 1:28 AM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of Highway 111 and Deep Canyon Drive in Palm Desert regarding a traffic collision. Deputies contacted a 35-year-old female from Palm Desert who was identified as a driver involved in the collision. The female displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 1:39 AM – Public Intoxication Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 77000 block of California Drive in Palm Desert regarding a suspicious people in the backyard. Deputies contacted a 22-year-old male and a 22-year-old female from La Quinta who had a heightened level of intoxication and did not live at the location. Both were arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 12:27 PM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of Portola Avenue and College Drive in Palm Desert regarding a traffic collision. Deputies contacted a 49-year-old male from Palm Desert who was identified as a driver involved in the collision. The male displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 5:04 PM – Domestic Battery and Restraining Order Violation Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 73000 block of Santa Rosa Way in Palm Desert. Deputies contacted a 61-year- old female from Palm Desert and determined that she had instigated a phy sical altercation with her spouse. An inquiry of the female’s information showed there was a restraining order protecting the victim. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. Deputies contacted a 28-year-old male from Palm Desert and located narcotics in his possession. An inquiry of the male’s information showed he was on probation. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 3:23 PM – Domestic Battery Arrest – Deputies responded to a residence in the 35000 block of Gateway Drive in Palm Desert regarding a domestic disturbance. Deputies contacted a 64 -year- old female from Palm Desert and determined that she had instigated a phy sical altercation with her spouse. The female was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 6:26 PM – Driving Under the Influence Arrest – Deputies responded to the intersection of Frontage Road and Highway 74 in Palm Desert regarding a drunk driver. Deputies located the driver and identified him as a 45-year-old male from Palm Desert. The male displayed a heightened level of intoxication. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio. 9:40 PM – Theft and Narcotics Arrest – Deputies conducted a pedestrian check at the intersection of Monterey Avenue and Market Place Way. Deputies contacted a 22 -year-old male and found narcotics and stolen retail merchandise on him. The male was arrested and booked at the county jail in Indio.
