This checklist is intended for a virtual inspection of residential re-roofing projects at existing structures. It does not apply to new construction. Submit this form with clear photos.
Required Photos Provide 6–10 clear photos. Pre-Roof Inspection
Photo of residence (address visible)
Roof area exposed or proof of single layer (CRC R908.3)
Roof deck repair if applicable (CRC R908.5)
Underlayment installation (CRC R905.1.1, R905.2.7)
Flashing at penetrations (CRC R903.2 & R903.4)
Attic ventilation components (CRC R806.2)
Drip edge at eaves/gables (CRC R905.2.8.5)
Final Inspection
Completed roof installation
Optional material label (Class A / ICC)
Smoke/Carbon Declaration Form (CRC R314 & R315)
Inspector Note
Inspector may request additional photos, video, or in-person inspection.
