Education and to solicit input on the communities in the District. Initial Map Deadline: Friday, Feb. 28 Last day for residents to submit initial draft maps. Release Draft Maps: March 5 Maps must be posted online at least 7 days prior to 3rd hearing. Draft Map Hearing: March 12 First of two Council hearings to discuss and revise the draft maps and to discuss the election sequence. Final Map Deadline: Friday, March 13 Last day for residents to submit maps for Council consideration Maps Posted: March 19th Maps must be posted online at least 7 days prior to 4th hearing. Map Hearing: March 26 Second of two Council hearings to discuss and select a map and to discuss and select the election sequence. Introduction of ordinance. Final Adoption: April 16 Fifth hearing and second reading of ordinance. November 3, 2020 First by-district election for Central District and two seats in District 2 2021 Map updated to reflect 2020 Census Data November 2022 First by-district election for remaining two seats in District 2 March 27, 2020 Districting Rules and Goals 3.
