WINDOW/DOOR REPLACEMENT VIRTUAL INSPECTION CHECKLIST
This criteria is intended for a virtual window and door inspection of existing windows and
doors (Not applicable to new window or door locations). This checklist must
be completed and signed before submitting to the City for inspection (See
step-by-step instructions on how to submit pictures)..
**Please provide 5 pictures or less that includes the following**
1.One clear picture of the residence. Address must be visible.
2.One clear picture of the overall work or each side of residence where the work is being
conducted.
3.One clear picture of energy label (U-factor / SHGC information attached to window or door)
or Window spec sheet.
4.One clear picture of the installed window and/or door flashing.
5.Required to be used and completed the City's Smoke/Carbon declaration form only. No
pictures of smoke detectors. (CRC Section R314 and R315)
I understand and affirm that the above information regarding the residential window and door
installation is true and accurate. During the review of the provided photographs, the inspector
may require a video virtual or in person inspection. The inspector will provide specific
instructions, if necessary.
