COMMERCIAL HVAC VIRTUAL INSPECTION CHECKLIST
This criteria is intended only for equivalent or lesser weight rating HVAC replacement
inspection and not intended for new construction or new locations (Subject to approval).
This must be completed and signed when submitting to the City (See handout for submittal
instructions).
1. Provide a picture of the building. (Include address)
2. Provide a picture of the overall equipment location.
3. Provide a picture of the manufacture’s labels.
4. Provide a picture of the electrical service panel showing equipment circuit breaker.
5. Provide a picture of the disconnect and fuse size.
6. Provide a picture of the fuel gas line sediment trap with fuel gas shut-off valve.
7. Provide a picture of the condensate waste line and point of discharge.
8. Provide a picture of the lineset insulation and UV protection.
9. Provide a picture of the vent connections and fasteners.
10. Provide a picture of the suction port locks.
11. Provide a picture of the combustion air vents if the FAU is installed in an appliance closet or room.
(Not required for areas with adequate combustion air)
12. Provide a picture of the Air filters installation. (Complying with Mandatory Measures 150(m)(12)(c)). 13. Provide a picture of the Air Economizer.
14. Provide a Certificate of Compliance with registration number. (Project Status Report Results page only)
I understand and affirm that the above information regarding the Commercial HVAC installation is true
and accurate. During the review of the provided photographs, the inspector may require a video
virtual or in person inspection. The inspector will provide specific instructions, if necessary.
