RESIDENTIAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING INSPECTION
CHECKLIST
This criteria is intended for a virtual residential electric vehicle charging inspection and
must be completed and signed before submittal to the City (See handout for submittal
instructions).
1.Provide a picture of the entire front of the residence.
2.Provide a close-up picture of the house address.
3.Provide a picture of the overall equipment area, including any conduit runs and penetrations
into any fire separation, if applicable.
4.Provide a picture the connection to the main service panel or sup-panel. The connection
must be shown without any dead front protection.
5.Provide pictures of the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors compliant with CRC
R314 and R315 (See City Handout if necessary for specifications and locations)
I understand and affirm that the above information regarding the residential
electric vehicle charging installation is true and accurate. If during the review of the
provided photographs the inspector may require a video virtual inspection. The
inspector will provide specific instruction, if necessary.
