DECLARATION OF NON-SHORT TERM RENTAL STATUS
Chapter 5.10 of the Palm Desert Municipal Code requires a valid registration certificate for all short-term
rental units rented 27 consecutive days or less. The fines and/or citations for violations can be up to $5,000.
One form is required for each unit/property and owner.

days or less I am required to register this property pursuant to chapter 5.10 of the Palm Desert
Municipal Code.
I declare under penalty that this information is, to the best of my knowledge, true, correct and
complete. A failure to obtain a required short-term rental permit and pay all required Transient
Occupancy Taxes, can result in a City issued citation, and/or fines of up to $5,000.
